Curfew

During the protests in June of 2020 the New York City announced a curfew that would take effect after 8pm daily. This image was made possible during Manhattanhenge Effect. In previous years, when lockdowns and curfews were not in place. You could find at least 100 photographers on the Tudor City overpass. I live very close by, so I was lucky enough to shoot the sunset, with a handful of photographers that day. In this moment a police car made a U-turn to begin his watch and gave me this one-of-a-kind shot.
