Rihanna

We got a frantic and excited call from other guides that there is 3 of lionesses devouring a buffalo. We quickly drove from one end of the Serengeti to the other and after an hour half, right before the sunset we were there, and they were there. All 3 lionesses, healthy and strong and hungry. One in particular caught my eye, she wasn’t blind, but she could barely open her right eye. We think this happened during the hunt. A war wound if you must. I took photographs of her for almost 2 hours. During those two hours she only looked at me twice, and I was able to capture each moment.
