Eye Contact

I love my subjects when they are on higher ground than me. I saw this beautiful giraffe by herself on high ground after a long morning dive. Me and my guide were tired and hungry, but I knew I had to photograph this beauty, and thank God I did. I spent about 15 minutes with her and noticed she was getting very irritated by the pesky oxpecker on her head. She shook her head around rapidly and the oxpeckers started to fly. Her expressions were priceless. She came eye to eye with the bird here and gifted me this beautiful image.
