Mitosis

Of all the animals I photograph in the wild, zebras are my easily my favorite. They were the purpose of my trip to Samburu while in Kenya. In Samburu, there are Grevy’s Zebras (Imperial Zebra) who are now on the endangered species list. While driving through Samburu, we came across a few and we all willingly spent our evening driving alongside them. Seeing on Zebra is impressive, but when they are aligned or on top of each other it’s awestriking. Without startling the herd, I managed to shoot them from a distance with my 400mm f/2.8 and captured what looks like two zebras margining seamlessly into each other. I truly hope these beautiful animals survive and stay with us for many centuries to come.
